WANA (Mar 25) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has outlined recent military operations by the country’s armed forces and criticized restrictions on coverage of the conflict.

In a video message, Second Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari said that on the 25th day of the ongoing conflict, Iranian forces carried out multiple offensive and defensive operations.

He stated that Iran’s integrated air defense network intercepted several aerial threats in recent hours, including Tomahawk and JASSM cruise missiles, as well as a number of combat and loitering drones, in central and southern regions of the country.

Zolfaghari added that Iranian forces conducted drone operations targeting Israeli military-related facilities, including Rafael weapons industries in Haifa, aerospace facilities near Ben Gurion Airport, and refueling aircraft stationed at the airport.

He said the 78th phase of “Operation True Promise 4” was carried out overnight using ballistic missiles and drones against U.S. and Israeli targets. Locations in Eilat, Dimona, northern Tel Aviv, and several U.S. military bases in the region were targeted using precision-guided Emad and Ghadr missile systems, along with explosive drones.

He added that the 79th phase of the operation involved Sejjil, Emad, and Kheibar Shekan missiles, along with drones from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ aerospace division.

The strikes passed through Israel’s multi-layered air defense systems and targeted intelligence sites in northern and central Tel Aviv, military support centers in Ramat Gan and the Negev, and a key logistics and command center in Beersheba.

Zolfaghari said widespread fires and the prolonged sheltering of more than two million Israelis reflect the impact of Iran’s missile and drone operations and indicate disruption to opposing defense systems.

He also said that the Pentagon and Israel’s Aman intelligence agency have restricted the publication of war-related news and images of the strikes, describing it as an effort to control narratives and shape public perception.
