WANA (Sep 01) – Reports indicate that Iranian missiles and drones have been launched toward enemy positions following the start of new US attacks on areas in southern Iran.

According to field observations by reporters, Iranian missile and drone operations have begun in response to the latest US strikes. Earlier, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had carried out attacks against targets in Iran.

Following the strikes, the spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said: “A harsh punishment awaits the aggressors, and the United States will regret its new attacks.”

Meanwhile, as tensions continue to escalate across the region, US embassies in occupied Jerusalem, Qatar, and Jordan issued security alerts for American citizens.

The embassies cited “ongoing tensions in the Middle East,” warning that the security situation in the region remains complex and that further escalation is possible.

The warnings were issued as reports emerged of new US attacks against areas in southern Iran. The United States had previously carried out strikes on Iran’s Larak Island, which were followed by a response from Iran’s armed forces.
