WANA (Jul 15) – Multiple explosions were reported across Jordan early Wednesday, while air raid sirens sounded in several areas of the country. Reports indicate that Iranian missiles struck military bases hosting U.S. forces in Jordan.

According to local reports, several explosions were heard near U.S. military installations, with Iranian missiles targeting bases used by American troops. The strikes were carried out in response to recent U.S. military attacks on several locations in southern Iran.

At the same time, footage circulating online appears to show U.S. air defense systems attempting to intercept Iranian missiles over Jordanian airspace.

Additional reports indicate that Israeli air defense systems, including the Iron Dome, were activated to intercept Iranian missiles passing through Jordanian airspace.

Images released following the attack appear to show a direct missile impact on a U.S. military base in northeastern Jordan.
