WANA (May 19) – Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, warned that any new attack against Iran would trigger a stronger response from Tehran and “further humiliate” Donald Trump.

Speaking to Al-Masirah TV, Rezaei said Iran is fully prepared for all possible scenarios and stressed that any act of aggression against the country would be met with a more forceful retaliation.

“The Americans must either accept diplomacy and Iran’s conditions, or submit to the power of our missiles,” he said.

Rezaei also addressed the future of the Strait of Hormuz, saying the strategic waterway “will never return to its previous state,” and claimed that no global power would be able to reopen or manage it without Iran’s consent.

He further revealed that Iran’s parliament is preparing a new legal framework for managing the Strait of Hormuz. Under the proposed framework, he said, “enemy vessels will not be allowed to pass through the strait.”

The Iranian lawmaker added that any new military action against Iran would only bring “greater embarrassment” to Trump.
