Iranian Navy Intercepts British Spy Destroyer in the Sea of Oman
WANA (Jun 14) – According to the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Navy’s First Naval Zone, a British destroyer suspected of espionage was intercepted by Iran’s naval forces in the Sea of Oman and forced to change course.
The destroyer reportedly entered the northern Indian Ocean last night with the alleged intention of guiding missiles from the Israeli regime toward Iranian territory.
It was identified through the Iranian Navy’s intelligence monitoring systems and subsequently confronted by combat drones.
Navy officials stated that the British vessel was caught in an intelligence and operational ambush by Iranian forces and was compelled to abandon its approach toward the Persian Gulf.
Further details will be released as they become available.
