WANA (Jul 27) – An informed Iranian official reported that six vessels attempted to transit through an unauthorized route in the southern Strait of Hormuz early this morning, resulting in an incident involving one ship while the remaining five were turned back into the Persian Gulf.

 

According to the official, the six vessels had disabled their navigation and positioning systems prior to entering the area, allegedly acting with encouragement from the U.S. military.
