WANA (Feb 28) – Senior Iranian authorities have dismissed reports alleging that top state leaders were targeted in recent strikes, stating that the country’s highest-ranking officials remain in full health.

Official sources inside Iran said that senior figures across all branches of government were not harmed, contradicting claims circulated by Israeli sources that the president and other high-level leaders had been successfully targeted.

Parliamentary officials confirmed that the Speaker of Parliament is in good health and was not injured during the reported attacks. Additional confirmations indicated that the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council is also safe.

At the same time, senior officials close to the presidency stated that President Masoud Pezeshkian remains unharmed. The judiciary’s official media outlet likewise reported that the head of the judiciary is in full health.

Separately, the Iranian Army confirmed that its commander-in-chief was not affected by the developments.

These reassurances were issued amid reports by the U.S.-based news outlet Axios, citing Israeli officials, which claimed that senior Iranian leaders had been primary targets of recent airstrikes. Iranian authorities rejected those claims and emphasized the continuity and stability of the country’s governing institutions.
