WANA (Jun 24) – Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad departed for India this morning to participate in the 11th BRICS Energy Ministers’ Meeting.

 

The primary focus of the ministerial summit in India will be reviewing the achievements and initiatives of BRICS member states regarding sustainable energy development.

 

Ministers will also engage in discussions and exchange views on expanding cooperative capabilities within the BRICS framework.

 

During his visit, Paknejad is scheduled to meet with India’s Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri. The two officials are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation opportunities between Tehran and New Delhi in the oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical sectors.
