Iranian President to Visit Pakistan on Tuesday
WANA (Jun 22) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to visit Pakistan on Tuesday, according to Habib Abbasi, Director General of Public Relations at the Presidential Office.
Speaking in an interview, Abbasi confirmed the president’s trip, saying it is expected to take place tomorrow and will likely last one day.
According to Abbasi, the visit aims to follow up on agreements reached during previous bilateral visits, explore opportunities to expand economic relations between the two countries, and allow the Iranian president to express appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts in mediating between Iran and the United States.
Earlier, Al Mayadeen, citing Pakistani sources, reported that the Iranian president was expected to travel to Islamabad on Tuesday.
