WANA (Jun 15) – The President of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, criticized the United States and certain Western nations for supporting what he described as the criminal actions of the Israeli regime. He emphasized that, just as Iran’s armed forces have already issued firm and appropriate responses, any continuation of hostile conduct by Israel would be met with even stronger and more forceful reactions.

In Sunday’s cabinet meeting, Dr. Pezeshkian stressed the need to stand against the aggression of the Israeli regime. He stated that recent events once again showed that Israel disregards humanitarian, legal, and international norms.

He condemned the silence and support from Western countries—especially the U.S. and parts of Europe—and claimed that instead of stopping the brutal attacks, they provide military, intelligence, and political support to Israel. According to him, the same planes, missiles, and weapons now being used in aggression against Iran are supplied by these countries, with intelligence support delivered through their radar and military systems.

Dr. Pezeshkian reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never sought war or conflict but emphasized that, as Iran’s armed forces have given appropriate and firm responses so far, any continued hostility would be answered even more decisively.

He described the current situation as savage and at odds with the so-called slogans of dialogue and civilization promoted by certain nations. He urged Islamic and regional countries to adopt a clear, firm, and effective stance against Israeli aggression and its supporters—claiming the regime pursues its crimes in the region without limits, under a green light from the U.S.

Quoting a conversation between an American official and Dr. Araghchi, Dr. Pezeshkian highlighted that Israel cannot act without U.S. approval and that current events are taking place with Washington’s direct support, despite efforts to conceal its role in the media.
