WANA (May 08) – The head coach and executive manager of the Iranian National Football Team have departed for Riyadh to represent the Islamic Republic at the official draw for the AFC Asian Cup.

 

The draw ceremony is scheduled to take place tomorrow night (Saturday, May 9) in the Saudi capital.

 

High-Level Delegation

Amir Ghalenoei, head coach of Iranian National Football Team, left for Riyadh this morning to attend the high-profile event. He is accompanied by Mehdi Kharati, the National Team’s executive manager.

 

Following the ceremony, which will determine Iran’s opponents for the upcoming continental tournament, Ghalenoei is expected to return to Tehran on Monday.

 

The event marks a significant step in the regional football calendar, bringing together top officials and coaches from across the continent as Saudi Arabia hosts the prestigious selection process.
