WANA (Apr 09) – The Acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran held separate telephone conversations with the defense ministers of Pakistan and Tajikistan to discuss the latest regional developments and bilateral issues of mutual interest.

 

During the talks, Brigadier General Ebnolreza referred to recent developments, including military aggressions by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, and emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation and coordination to ensure regional stability and security.

 

In his conversation with Pakistan’s Minister of Defense, he expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace and stability, highlighting the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation and enhancing the two countries’ role in achieving sustainable regional security.

 

For his part, Pakistan’s defense minister extended condolences to the Iranian government and people, praised the resilience and resistance of Iran’s people and armed forces, and described it as a source of pride for the Islamic world. He also stressed the importance of confronting expansionist actions by the Zionist regime and preventing destabilizing plots in the region.

 

In a separate call with Tajikistan’s Minister of Defense, the Iranian official expressed gratitude for Tajikistan’s political stance and humanitarian assistance in support of Iran.

 

The Tajik defense minister, in turn, offered condolences and underscored the importance of establishing genuine peace and stability among nations sharing common cultural and linguistic ties, while calling for closer cooperation to enhance regional security.
