Iran’s Armed Forces: National Unity Will Defeat Any Enemy Threats
WANA (Aug 25) – The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a message marking Government Week, expressed gratitude for the support of the Iranian people, government, and all branches of power during the recent 12-day war, stressing that with stronger national unity and cooperation with officials, the Armed Forces will confront any enemy threats with greater power and decisiveness.
In the message, the General Staff congratulated Government Week and praised the tireless efforts of the country’s officials, particularly “the hardworking, active, and persistent President,” in serving the nation. The statement further pledged to assist the government more than ever in advancing the sacred goals of the Islamic Revolution.
The message emphasized appreciation for the guidance and support of the Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, noting that the Armed Forces, in line with his directives, will continue to enhance military strength and defense capabilities to safeguard the nation’s interests, territorial integrity, and the foundations of the Islamic Republic.

According to the statement, the progress of the Islamic Republic since its establishment has been achieved through the unity of the people and state officials. It highlighted that throughout the turbulent years of the Revolution, the vigilance and cooperation of the people with state institutions and the Armed Forces have consistently frustrated enemy plots.
The statement warned that global powers continue to use false narratives and distortions in attempts to undermine national cohesion, but stressed that the Iranian people, under the wise and courageous leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, stand united with their officials and the Armed Forces against all conspiracies.
It added that following their failure in the 12-day war, the United States and “the foolish prime minister of the child-killing Zionist regime” are now attempting to create internal discord in Iran to compensate for their military defeat. The Armed Forces warned that any attempt at division or discord, from any source, would ultimately serve the agenda of the U.S. and Israel.
Concluding its message, the General Staff reaffirmed its gratitude for the unmatched support of the Iranian people, the government, and all branches of power during the 12-day war, and assured that, by reinforcing unity and synergy with the people and officials, it will respond to any enemy adventurism or threat “with greater strength than ever before,” making Iran’s adversaries deeply regret their actions.
