Iran’s Armed Forces Warn Kurdistan Region Officials
WANA (Mar 06) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned officials in the Kurdistan Region against any cooperation that would allow hostile forces to be stationed along Iran’s borders.
In a video message, Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for the headquarters, said Iran’s armed forces maintain full intelligence oversight of the country’s borders and are closely monitoring all movements in the area.
He cautioned that any action or cooperation facilitating the deployment of hostile forces along Iran’s border would be met with a strong response from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Zolfaghari added that while Iran respects the national sovereignty of regional countries, any location from which the United States or Israel conducts military actions against Iran would be firmly targeted.
