Iran’s Armed Forces Warn of “Devastating Response” After Attacks on Residential Areas in Tehran
WANA (Mar 10) – The senior spokesperson for Iran’s armed forces has warned that those responsible for the recent attacks in Tehran should expect severe retaliation.
Abolfazl Shekarchi stated that the incidents targeting residential areas in the Iranian capital would not go unanswered. According to him, the attacks reflect what he described as the inability of the United States and Israel to confront Iran’s armed forces directly.
He claimed that because they are unable to withstand the “powerful assaults” of Iranian forces on the battlefield, their response has been to target civilians, including women and children.
Referring to incidents that took place in Tehran over the past two days, Shekarchi said two “brutal acts of aggression” had occurred in the city. He warned that what he described as the “U.S.–Israeli enemy” should expect strong and decisive retaliation.
“These attacks will soon be avenged,” he said, adding that “very devastating blows will be inflicted on them.”
The spokesperson also called on people across the region not to cooperate with U.S. forces. He urged them to reveal locations where American forces are stationed so that civilians would not be harmed or used as “a shield for the invading U.S. military,” saying this would help Iran confront those forces more effectively.
