WANA (Jun 23) – The Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army, Major General Amir Hatami, declared that the United States will once again receive a firm and decisive response for its recent actions, just as it has every time it committed crimes against Iran in the past.

Speaking via video link from the Central Zolfaqar Headquarters to senior military commanders deployed across the country, General Hatami praised the efforts of the Army in confronting the Israeli regime and honored the memory of fallen soldiers while wishing recovery for the wounded.

“U.S. Crimes Are Not New – They Will Be Met with Force”

“We have witnessed many crimes by the Americans throughout the history of the Islamic Revolution, and even before that,” Hatami said. “In 1979 and during the final stages of the Iran-Iraq War, the U.S. repeatedly committed atrocities — and each time, they were met with a strong response. This time will be no different.”

He pointed out that recent successful military operations by Iranian forces had left the enemy unable to claim victory, forcing them to escalate tensions by drawing in higher-level actors. “They were compelled to involve the key mastermind behind these crimes and directly engage with the Islamic Republic,” he stated.

Army Reaffirms Loyalty to the People

Reaffirming the Army’s commitment to its long-standing motto, “The Army sacrifices itself for the nation,” Hatami lauded the Iranian people’s massive turnout during Friday’s demonstrations. “Their presence has doubled our responsibility. We are deeply grateful to this insightful and great nation,” he said.

“To the honorable people of Iran, we say sincerely and wholeheartedly: today we are more committed than ever to our oath. We will defend the independence, territorial integrity, and the sacred Islamic Republic — which itself is the greatest guardian of our nation’s sovereignty — with all our strength.”

Fighting for Victory, Not Just Martyrdom

General Hatami underscored that while martyrdom is considered a great honor in Iran, the Army is currently fighting for victory. “We are not merely seeking sacrifice. We are preparing and acting for triumph,” he stressed.

He urged commanders and troops to implement the strategic directives of both the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters and the Zolfaqar Operational Command with “creativity, initiative, strength, and rationality,” assuring them that their efforts are a source of pride for both the Iranian people and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

“With God’s help, victory will be ours — this is a divine promise,” he concluded.

Military Operations Report Presented

At the end of the session, Rear Admiral Seyed Mahmoud Mousavi, Deputy for Operations of the Army, presented an update to General Hatami on the ongoing and upcoming military activities and strategies being executed across various regions.
