WANA (Apr 08) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement highlighting the nation’s resilience and unity, describing the “acceptance of Iran’s conditions by the American–Zionist enemy” as a symbol of national strength, while emphasizing the continued preparedness of the country’s armed forces.

 

Full Text of the Statement:

The steadfast determination of the great Iranian nation—rooted in a civilization thousands of years old and inspired by dignity, freedom, and a refusal to submit, drawn from the spirit of the Ashura school—together with the sacrifices of Islamic fighters on the battlefield and the efforts and resolve of all national institutions and the people’s government, has once again elevated a powerful Iran in the eyes of the world.

 

The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran congratulates the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the resilient Iranian nation on the outcome of the resistance, perseverance, and pride of a united Iran, as well as the failure of the American–Zionist enemies. It affirms that the enemies’ inability to achieve their malicious objectives would not have been possible without the unity and solidarity of the people alongside their sons in the armed forces.

 

The noble Iranian nation endured significant losses in this imposed war, foremost among them the martyrdom of the revered Imam, fallen commanders, and members of the general public.

 

The sacrifices and wise leadership of the esteemed martyred Imam, the lessons of resilience learned from him, and the enduring memory of our beloved martyrs—especially the innocent students of Minab and the brave sailors of the Dena warship—will remain everlasting. These have further strengthened the determination of the great Iranian nation to continue its steadfast defense. We believe that as long as injustice exists, resistance will continue, and that the valuable achievements of our sacred defense must serve as a guiding light for future generations.

 

With complete distrust toward the promises and conduct of its enemies, and drawing lessons from their repeated breaches of commitments, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, alongside the valiant IRGC, will not neglect for even a moment the monitoring of enemies or the enhancement of its combat readiness and capabilities, as consistently emphasized by the Leaders of the Revolution.

 

“The Army as the devoted servant of the nation” and “the nation as the support and refuge of the Army,” together with all branches of the armed forces, have demonstrated their firm and unyielding resolve to defend this land and divine homeland. With trust in Almighty God and hope for ultimate victory, and under the wise leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Khamenei, they will continue their honorable path in safeguarding the independence and strength of the Islamic homeland.
