Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Criticizes IAEA Silence on Attacks
WANA (Apr 03) – Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency over what it described as its silence regarding U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
In a post on X, the organization stated that the IAEA’s lack of response “is not merely inaction but clear complicity with the perpetrators.” It added that the head of the AEOI has sent protest letters to the agency’s Director General.
The statement further described the situation as a “historic negligence” that undermines what it called the IAEA’s remaining credibility.
The IAEA has previously emphasized that attacks on nuclear facilities pose serious safety risks and has called for restraint amid ongoing tensions.
