Iran’s Borders Are a Red Line; Stay Away!
WANA (Aug 25) – The commander of Iran’s Army Ground Forces warned armed groups and opposition elements based across the country’s borders that any hostile activity or action against Iran’s borders would be met with a decisive response.
Brig. Gen. Ali Jahanshahi said during a visit to Iran’s northeastern border areas that the Army Ground Forces are at their highest level of combat readiness and are monitoring hostile movements across the border around the clock.
He warned that in the event of any incursion or aggression, the positions and bases of those threatening Iran’s security would be within range of the Army Ground Forces’ drone and artillery capabilities, adding that the armed forces’ response to any threat would be “swift, precise and deterrent.”
Jahanshahi also pointed to the Army’s drone capabilities, saying that during the recent war, the Ground Forces used Arash attack drones to strike positions and bases belonging to U.S. forces in the region.
The commander concluded by stressing that “Iran’s borders are a red line for the armed forces” and that any aggression against Iranian territory would face a stronger response than in the past.
