Iran’s Defense Minister: “Any Act of Aggression Will Be Met with a Stronger Response Than Before”
WANA (Nov 04) – On the occasion of Iran’s National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance, the country’s Defense Minister reaffirmed Tehran’s determination to confront any external threat with greater strength and resolve.
Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh stated in his message that “the Ministry of Defense will continue to take firm and determined steps on the path of knowledge, dignity, and national strength, cutting off the hand of any conspirator or aggressor with greater power and determination than before.”
Referring to November 4 — known in Iran as the anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the U.S. embassy in Tehran — Nasirzadeh described the day as a “symbol of the Iranian youth’s resistance against global arrogance” and “a lasting page in the history of the Islamic Revolution.”
He noted that Iran’s adversaries have repeatedly sought to undermine the Islamic Republic over the past decades — from the Iran–Iraq War to what he called the “12-day Sacred Defense” — but said that, under the leadership of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, “the Iranian people have consistently defeated their enemies through steadfastness and strength.”
The minister concluded by honoring those killed in past conflicts and reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic will “continue advancing on the path of national power and scientific progress with even greater determination.”
