WANA (Jun 14) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, addressed questions regarding the sixth round of Iran-U.S. talks, stating: “Our primary focus at this stage is countering enemy aggression.”

Speaking to reporters about the negotiations that had been scheduled for Sunday in Muscat, Baghaei emphasized that the current priority for Iranian diplomacy is confronting hostile actions.

He added: “Enemies of diplomacy and peace have imposed an unjust war on the Iranian people. Despite its rhetoric about dialogue and diplomacy, the United States has aligned itself with the Zionist regime’s acts of aggression — including its attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities. It is evident that under such circumstances, as long as the Zionist regime’s hostilities against the Iranian nation continue, participating in talks with a party that is both the main supporter and accomplice of the aggressor is fundamentally meaningless.”
