WANA (Jul 08) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a high-ranking Iranian diplomat will meet with senior Saudi officials in Jeddah during his return from Brazil.

 

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei wrote:

 

“On his way back home from Brazil (BRICS Summit), FM Araghchi has a short stop in Jeddah to meet with Saudi Arabia’s high-ranking officials over bilateral relations and peace and security of the region.”

 

The meeting is seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties between Tehran and Riyadh and to discuss regional stability and cooperation.
