Iran’s Foreign Minister: No One Should Complain if Our Missiles Destroy HIMARS Systems
WANA (Mar 10) – Iran’s Foreign Minister reacted to recent remarks by the U.S. Central Command, warning about the use of neighboring countries’ territory for missile attacks against Iran and stressing that any continued actions of this kind could be met with a legitimate retaliatory response from Tehran.
According to reports, the foreign minister referred to what he described as an admission by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) that HIMARS missile systems had been deployed in the territory of some neighboring countries. He said these systems were used to launch short-range missiles against targets inside Iran. He also claimed that the attack on the desalination plant in Qeshm was likely carried out using the same systems.
Describing such actions as a direct threat to Iran’s national security, the minister stated that if Iran’s powerful missiles were to retaliate by destroying these systems wherever they are located, no party should have grounds to complain.
He concluded by emphasizing that responsibility for the consequences of any escalation would lie with those who allow their territory to be used for military actions against Iran.
