WANA (Jul 28) – Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has issued an explanatory statement titled “The Silent Battle with the Intelligence NATO in the 12-Day Imposed War” regarding the recent war.

The full text of the explanatory statement of the Ministry of Intelligence is as follows:

“In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful”

On the occasion of the Arbaeen of the martyrs of the 12-day imposed war, and in honor of the memory of those who fell in blood—whether civilians, military commanders and soldiers, nuclear scientists, members of the intelligence community, or the anonymous soldiers of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) in the Ministry of Intelligence—we pray for the elevation of their ranks in the sight of God.

We extend both congratulations and condolences to the families of the martyrs and ask the Almighty for patience and reward for them. Once more, we wholeheartedly renew our allegiance to the wise and farsighted Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his shadow be extended), especially regarding his seven recently announced strategic directives. Accordingly, we declare the following to the great and proud nation of Islamic Iran:

1)

The act of aggression and warmongering by the satanic and hostile American-Zionist front in the early hours of Friday, 13th of June 2, against dear Iran was not merely a limited military operation targeting the country’s nuclear and defense capabilities. Based on a body of intelligence findings, what unfolded over the course of the 12-day imposed war was a war plan fully orchestrated and executed using a comprehensive array of combined military, security, intelligence, cognitive warfare, diversionary actions, assassinations, sabotage, destabilization, and internal unrest operations. The ultimate goal—based on delusion—was to “subjugate and force Iran into surrender, overthrow the sacred system of the Islamic Republic, and partition Greater Iran.” This plan was commissioned by the deceitful regime ruling the United States, carried out by the criminal Zionist clique, assisted by several European countries, and aided by counterrevolutionary groups, Takfiri terrorists, and armed bandits.

2)

Preparations for this war went far beyond military and armament arrangements. They also included various combined preludes, such as attempts at negotiations, manipulations of certain international organizations through false and dishonorable accusations against the Islamic Republic for allegedly violating nuclear commitments, the issuance of an unjustified and illegal resolution by the IAEA Board of Governors against Iran, intense propaganda bombardment, psychological operations, and cognitive warfare and perception manipulation by the dominant media apparatus of the global hegemonic order and Western diplomats. This operation also included the comprehensive use of the latest technical achievements and smart technologies from CENTCOM, the Pentagon, and affiliated American, Western, and Zionist megacorporations in fields such as satellite surveillance, cyber warfare, signal tracking, telecommunications and internet surveillance, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, advanced aerial imaging, social network engineering, and more.

3)

The American-Zionist axis, heedless of on-the-ground realities and relying instead on assumptions, miscalculations, and strategies of materialistic Western analysts—as well as false reports and delusions peddled by the Iranian counterrevolution—entered the battlefield under the foolish and baseless notion that they could use U.S.-style regime-change models based on the “dirty war strategy” to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran, a system rooted in Iranian-Islamic civilization, and bring the country and the global Resistance to its knees. Yet they were struck down and rendered helpless by the iron will and faith of the great Iranian nation and the strength of the experienced and courageous armed forces of the Islamic Republic under the firm leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (may his shadow be extended). In this war plan, in addition to blatant crimes such as targeting military commanders, scientists, nuclear facilities, and air defense systems, damaging residential complexes, and martyring civilians, the enemy also sought to activate insurgents and various terrorist groups under different covers, deploy awaiting spies for assassinations and sabotage, and mobilize mercenaries—remnants of monarchists, thugs, riot groups, and dormant cells of the hypocrites (MEK)—to incite unrest, provoke dissatisfaction, fuel labor protests, and escalate conditions into uncontrollable street riots.

4)

In this context, the oppressed and anonymous soldiers of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) in the Ministry of Intelligence and the national intelligence community, before, during, and after the recent 12-day imposed war, were engaged in a relentless battle—not only against the petty Zionist regime but against the Western “intelligence-security NATO.” They stood valiantly against a wide range of security threats and infiltrators, fought with spirit and bravery, arrested treasonous elements and foreign agents, or dismantled them in armed clashes. In these silent battles, fought under shadows and often unacknowledged, they offered martyrs and wounded fighters to the Islamic Iran and the proud, noble nation.

5)

However, the “great and silent battle” of the anonymous soldiers of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) against the Zionist front was not limited to defensive operations. With pride, we inform the noble Iranian people that their sons in the Ministry of Intelligence, while guarding the nation’s security on all fronts, launched an “unprecedented and multifaceted intelligence offensive” by opening multiple fronts in the occupied territories against the criminal gang ruling them. Seizing the moment, we hereby briefly disclose part of the Ministry’s counter-offensive and intelligence assault (with certain security and field operation constraints preventing fuller disclosure for now). God willing, once the current considerations are resolved, a detailed report will be promptly shared:

1) Offensive and Defensive Espionage, Information Exchange, and Counter-Terrorism

1/1. Multiple and diverse offensive and intelligence (offensive espionage) operations were carried out in various cities of the occupied territories against the interests of the Zionist regime and the criminal gang ruling it. One of the implemented approaches involved recruiting intelligence and operational agents from the innermost military and security layers of the regime to carry out assigned missions, receive documented and visual reports of actions, and verify them. It is now definitively announced that although the desperate Zionist regime managed to identify and arrest some Israeli agents, the larger and more sensitive parts of these missions are still ongoing. Moreover, even those few detected cases caused such severe concern within the criminal regime that they led to “self-harming” behavior and disgraceful reactions from various agencies of the regime. One such reaction included the issuance of multiple public warnings by security, police, and the criminal Prime Minister’s Office, urging regime citizens not to cooperate or spy for Iran and threatening collaborators with the Ministry of Intelligence with severe punishments. When the intelligence cooperation of several military personnel, government employees, and teachers with the Ministry of Intelligence was revealed, regime media reported a “shockwave” hitting the occupying army and security agencies, followed by intensified propaganda and explicit threats.

2/1. Effective intelligence efforts were made to strengthen access and expand the infrastructure for information gathering from targets inside the regime and to send the resulting data and products to relevant military and governmental bodies. In this regard, the exploitation of ultra-classified and sensitive documents obtained from the recent intelligence breach of the Zionist regime’s “nuclear information vault” weeks before the 12-day war, and the relay of precise coordinates and pinpoint details of dozens of key centers and sensitive security, armament, defense, economic, industrial, refinery, power plant, fuel transmission lines, inhumane research laboratories (nuclear, chemical, microbial, biological), command of guided frequencies, etc., to the country’s armed forces before, during, and after the recent imposed war is noteworthy. (God willing, a documentary on this matter will be broadcast.)

3/1. Activation of covert diplomatic mechanisms in connection with the developments of the imposed war by exchanging information with other intelligence services, in addition to sending warning messages to target agencies through some regional countries, and exchanging data with them.

4/1. Identification and arrest of 20 spies, operational and logistical agents of Mossad, and individuals connected to intelligence officers of the regime in Tehran, Alborz, Qazvin, Arak, Isfahan, Fars, Kerman, Khuzestan, Zanjan, Mazandaran, West Azerbaijan, and Kurdistan. In three specific cases, operations were carried out jointly with relevant military intelligence protection units.

5/1. Identification of several agents linked to regime intelligence officers in the country’s economic, financial, and industrial sectors who were preparing for sabotage activities.

6/1. Detection, discovery, and neutralization of enemy intelligence services’ operational sites and positions exploited during the recent imposed war in several provinces, thereby thwarting their terrorist operations.

7/1. Detection and foiling of the regime’s terrorist plots to assassinate 23 national officials during the 12-day war and 13 similar conspiracies in the months leading up to the war, which, by God’s grace, prevented the assassination of 35 senior civil and military officials.

8/1. Discovery of the regime’s new targets in the Atomic Energy Organization and certain military centers of the country, notifying relevant officials, and foiling the regime’s sabotage operations.

2) Terrorist, Takfiri, and Separatist Groups

During the recent imposed war, Takfiri and terrorist groups were tasked by the American-Zionist criminals to carry out special operations aimed at causing insecurity, large-scale terrorist actions, and the disintegration of the country. Some actions taken against these groups are as follows:

1/2. Identification and arrest of three so-called “emirs” (commanders) of ISIS and 50 Takfiri terrorists within the country, along with the seizure of suicide vests and war weapons in their possession.

2/2. Discovery of a base housing 300 foreign terrorists near the southeastern border of the country who were planning to infiltrate Iranian territory, and the prevention of any of their movements. Additionally, it was revealed that the Zionist enemy was attempting to recruit and organize hundreds of mercenaries under the fake name “United Balochistan Front,” whose activities are under surveillance.

3/2. Discovery of the operational readiness of approximately 150 Takfiri elements based in Syria who were planning to enter and act against the country, followed by necessary preventive measures.

4/2. Discovery of a 12-article plan and operational manual of a terrorist group based beyond the western borders of the country, who were planning—according to themselves—“Syria-style operations.” This led to the identification and arrest of several members of the group near the border, and the detection and destruction of their arms depots intended for smuggling into the country.

5/2. Gaining intelligence about the entry of some leaders of armed groups into the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and becoming aware of military maneuvers by some armed groups in the region, followed by appropriate deterrent actions.

6/2. Dismantling of several operational cells of the hypocrite group (a.k.a. “rebellious centers”) that were active during the recent war in some provinces (including Tehran, West Azerbaijan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Qazvin, Hormozgan, and others).

7/2. Cracking down on several urban organizational cells of two terrorist groups that were planning operations in the Kurdish provinces of the country.

8/2. Arrest of extremist elements promoting ethnic separatism in several regions of the country, who, aligned with the fake regime, were targeting national unity, cohesion, and solidarity.

9/2. Acquisition of information regarding the naïve plan of terrorist and separatist groups to carry out operations and so-called “territorial seizures” (!) in the northwest and southeast of the country. In this regard, appropriate preventive and punitive actions were carried out decisively.

10/2. Arrest of several key elements and intelligence/technical support teams of a notorious terrorist, separatist, and anti-people group in Sistan and Baluchestan who were preparing for terrorist operations.

3) Neutralization of Regime-Change Plots, Alternative-Government Building, and Colonial-Sect Conspiracies

1/3. Full intelligence discovery and monitoring of the grand American-Zionist plan to establish a “puppet government” centered around the hated remnant of the treacherous Pahlavi dynasty. The plan involved direct participation by hardline Zionist-Iranian elements such as Ben Sabti (former spokesperson of the occupying regime), Bijan Rafii Kian (close to Netanyahu and former member of the US Business Council), and Ari Moghimi (representative of the Zionist regime in royalist gatherings). Responsibility for the “government-in-exile” was handed to Reza Pahlavi by the aforementioned group (!), concurrent with Israeli secessionist programs executed through monarchist agents (further details on this will be provided subsequently).

2/3. Comprehensive intelligence discovery and neutralization of the monarchist plan—directed by Mossad—to deploy armed operational teams from across the country to Tehran on June 22 for terrorist actions the next day (timed with the bombing of Evin Prison) and attacks on military and law enforcement centers near the prison. This was coordinated with a broad mobilization effort by Reza Pahlavi and affiliated Persian-language Zionist media outlets, aiming to gather all affiliated elements, prisoners’ families, etc., around the prison to trigger street unrest from that location. This monarchist-Zionist scenario was thwarted through the identification of key operatives, repeated blows to enemy operational teams, and the arrest of 122 mercenaries in 23 provinces, all before any terrorist activity in Tehran could take place.

3/3. Detection and disruption of several organized teams receiving wages in the form of digital currency (Tether) from royalist-Zionist network intermediaries in various provinces. These teams were tasked with disruptive operations and were dismantled with the arrest of 65 mercenaries in the days leading up to the Zionist regime’s aggression.

4/3. Full intelligence oversight of the “unusual intensification of communications and interactions” among leaders of the Zionist Baha’i sect, based out of their central hub in Haifa, Occupied Palestine. At the appropriate time, elements who were organizationally and purposefully engaged in the Zionist-monarchist project across the country were arrested.

5/3. Despite historical evidence that Iranian Christians have always enjoyed the best coexistence with their Muslim compatriots, have loyally supported their beloved homeland, and have offered many martyrs in defense of the country, the Zionist regime targeted this sacred harmony as well. A branch of Mossad operatives, under the guise of a so-called Evangelical Christian mission, connected to the Salvation Church in Seattle and the Blooming Church in Occupied Palestine, carried out various subversive actions. In response, 53 foreign-trained individuals were fully identified and arrested. Their organizational sites were searched, weapons were discovered, and their movements were successfully neutralized.

6/3. Neutralization of a networking scheme targeting prominent artistic, athletic, and high-profile media figures by inviting them to Zionist-royalist gatherings in Turkey and the United States. The organizational liaison, who held dual U.S. citizenship, was also arrested.

7/3. Comprehensive intelligence monitoring of the network of supporters and related cells of so-called “citizen-journalists” affiliated with the Zionist-terrorist network Iran International. This led to the discovery of their links with the child-killing regime, and the arrest or summoning of 98 affiliated operational agents within the country.

4) Activities of Anti-Security Elements in Cyberspace, the Digital Sphere, and Technical Communications

1/4. Continuous and intelligent monitoring of trends and psychological operations by the American-Zionist front in cyberspace. This includes real-time surveillance of websites and social media networks to identify and appropriately deal with regime supporters, campaign orchestrators, and those issuing calls to action aimed at inciting unrest and organizing anti-security gatherings.

2/4. Surveillance and monitoring of secretive and irregular interactions between domestic users and foreign entities—particularly individuals and communication channels of the Zionist regime. This led to the identification of dozens of administrators of significant pages and channels linked to espionage and operational networks (so-called street combat networks) in cyberspace, who were subsequently arrested.

3/4. Monitoring of enemy activity in signal domains and neutralizing their operations within the range of this Ministry’s technical access and capabilities.

4/4. Intelligent surveillance, and design and implementation of preventative measures to provide constant technical counteraction against cyber threats and attacks from the enemy, as well as detection of malware and technical/cyber sabotage.

5/4. Identification and proper counteraction against contact attempts by Mossad operatives (using various international dialing codes) targeting specific domestic individuals. Their goals were to generate psychological insecurity, sow confusion and anxiety, issue threats, offer so-called “safe” exit routes from the country, and promise foreign citizenship and residency. Thanks to the vigilance of the targeted individuals, the enemy failed in all such attempts.

5) Discovery of Weapons and Equipment in the Counterterrorism Sphere

Hidden data and intelligence reports indicate that various terrorist, takfiri, and separatist groups—particularly along the western and eastern borders of the country—have been engaging in extensive preparation, including stockpiling weapons and personnel and smuggling arms into the country. These efforts suggest readiness for “zero hour” operations during wartime conditions aimed at threatening national security. In this regard, several intelligence and operational measures were taken, including:

1/5. Monitoring, intelligence oversight, and control over weapons stockpiles held by these groups along the outer border areas of the country, which were intended for distribution among supporters at “zero hour” by counterrevolutionaries. During the 12-day imposed war period, six major arms shipments en route to Kurdistan Province and intended for arming militant units of a terrorist organization based in Iraqi Kurdistan were successfully intercepted and destroyed. These operations—conducted both domestically and across borders—resulted in the seizure of a large number of curved-barrel grenade launchers, rifle-launched grenades, Kalashnikov machine guns, hand grenades, handguns, ammunition, and more.

2/5. Operations targeting several locations where large shipments of semi-heavy explosives and ammunition were stored in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan and Kerman. These led to the seizure of a significant number of weapons, including various types of machine guns, RPG-7s and their rounds, hand grenades with detonators, pistols, grenade launchers, and related ammunition.

3/5. Identification of two major arms traffickers operating from abroad. Their illegal networks were disrupted, and dozens of war-grade weapons were seized from these groups, including American-made M4 and M16 rifles, Kalashnikovs, handguns, grenade launchers, communication devices, and more.

6) Social Provocations

6/1. Since social provocations were on the enemy’s agenda through various combined methods (before, during, and after the 12-day war), the Ministry of Intelligence, while precisely monitoring the enemy’s scenarios, paid attention to the necessary neutralizing actions in two aspects:

  • Positive (explaining the issue to target communities), and
  • Negative (deterring provocative actions by both aware and unaware agents of the enemy),
and carried out thousands of necessary measures throughout the country by all provincial intelligence departments.

6/2. Increasing monitoring and protective oversight and issuing warnings concerning service-providing centers and major production complexes of the country against various plots by intelligence services, terrorist groups, and hostile elements aiming to stir up grounds for disruption and dissatisfaction.

6/3. Continuous intelligence monitoring and appropriate confrontation with the efforts of enemy agents, mercenaries, and domestic fifth column to provoke and amplify artificial shortages of certain essential and livelihood items for the people during the imposed war (whether through hoarding and overpricing of necessary goods or through rumor-spreading and disturbing public minds).

In conclusion, the anonymous soldiers of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his reappearance) place their foreheads in gratitude to God on the ground, that despite the vastness and depth of the Zionist-American conspiracy and sedition, and the assembling of a union of foreign mercenaries, official spies, factional and terrorist elements including all kinds of Takfiri, Daesh, Monafeqin (MEK), monarchists, deviant cults, and separatists from the east and west of the country and others—yet through full-scale intelligence dominance and the sacrifice and devotion of the modest intelligence-security mujahideen, during the 12-day war, and while offering six anonymous and striving martyrs, not even a single operation against the country’s security was realized.

Without a doubt, this success was the result of:

  • Divine blessings upon this land and nation,
  • The guidance of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (may his noble shadow be extended), and
  • The vast and glorious role of the insightful and heroic nation of Iran.

So far, when it comes to the astonishing role of the people, the focus has mostly been on their steadfastness against the enemy, endurance of the war’s hardships, and preservation of national unity.

However, we witnessed a kind of role that had not been addressed until now, and that was the passionate, intelligent, loyal, committed, and guiding cooperation of the people with their sincere children and servants in the house of the anonymous soldiers.

In reality, when assistance and reporting of suspicious cases was requested from the people, we witnessed such an epic that no tongue or pen is capable of describing it.

We honestly and with full precision acknowledge that the main role in the “Sacred Security Defense against the Criminal Aggressors’ Coalition” was played by our benefactors—the people.

Before this greatness, we bow our heads in reverence and humbly request that the previous attentiveness toward suspicious matters be maintained, because according to reliable information, the hatred, deceit, and mischief of the American-Zionist enemy is still ongoing—as evidenced by the recent unfortunate terrorist operation in the city of Zahedan.

Before and after that, as well, the efforts of the enemy’s mercenaries and agents to carry out similar terrorist acts have continued.

For this reason, the Sacred Defense and the offensive and defensive jihadi operations of the anonymous mujahideen against the ruthless enemy and its mercenaries shall continue with strength and vigilance, with the help of Almighty God.
