Iran’s Interior Ministry Condemns U.S. and Israeli Strikes
WANA (Feb 28) – Iran’s Ministry of Interior has condemned the recent strikes by the United States and Israel on Iranian territory, describing them as a “blatant violation of international law” carried out while diplomatic negotiations were still underway.
In an official statement, the ministry said the government has mobilized all available administrative and security capacities to maintain public order, ensure social stability, and guarantee the uninterrupted delivery of essential services across the country. Authorities emphasized that managing the situation and responding swiftly to any urgent public needs remain their top priorities.
According to the statement, the Interior Minister has instructed provincial governors nationwide to submit immediate status reports and to deploy all local resources to address potential emergency requirements. Previously issued directives were also reiterated to ensure coordinated action at the provincial level.
The ministry further announced the formation of the National Crisis Management Headquarters under the direct order of Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni. Relevant provincial crisis management departments and affiliated agencies have been placed on high alert to assess conditions on the ground and implement precautionary measures.
Citizens were urged to remain calm and exercise prudence in both intra-city and intercity travel, adjusting movements in line with prevailing conditions. The ministry also called on the public to rely exclusively on official sources for information and to refrain from spreading rumors or unverified reports that could heighten public anxiety.
The statement comes amid escalating regional tensions, with recent developments triggering heightened political and security responses across the region.
