WANA (Mar 06) – The Public Relations Office of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that the twenty-second wave of Operation True Promise 4 was carried out successfully early Friday morning.

According to the statement, the operation was conducted under the code phrase “Ya Hussein ibn Ali (peace be upon him)” and involved the launch of Kheibar, Khorramshahr-4, and Fattah missiles targeting U.S. and Israeli positions from the Persian Gulf region to Tel Aviv. The

IRGC said the strikes were carried out in retaliation for those responsible for the killing of Iranian children in a school in Minab.

The statement added that, alongside powerful ballistic missiles, the super-heavy Khorramshahr-4 missile, equipped with a two-ton warhead and capable of speeds exceeding Mach 14, was also used in this wave as part of intensified and expanded attacks.

According to the IRGC, U.S. and Israeli bases in several Persian Gulf countries, as well as targets in Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport, and military facilities in Haifa, were struck by a new generation of missiles.

The IRGC further stated that the successful launch of these missiles from its stable network of missile bases on the seventh day of the war disproves claims made by Western media that Iran’s defensive capabilities have been weakened or that the pace of its missile and drone attacks has declined.

The statement concluded that Iran’s armed forces continue to hold the initiative on the battlefield and are prepared to advance the conflict at a regional level against U.S. and Israeli targets.
