WANA (Jul 30) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Bandar Imam Khomeini announced that a hostile drone was intercepted and destroyed over the city in the early hours of Thursday.

 

According to a statement by the IRGC unit in Bandar Imam Khomeini, the drone was detected and targeted by Iranian forces before being brought down in the city’s airspace.

 

The statement said that debris from the drone fell on a residential building in Bandar Imam Khomeini, but the incident caused no casualties.

 

The IRGC added that its bomb disposal and security team secured the wreckage, neutralized potential risks, and later removed the drone’s remains from the site.
