WANA (Apr 16) – Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, the Head of Iran’s Judiciary, speaking on Thursday, asserted that the United States is in a state of desperation and can no longer dictate terms to the Islamic Republic.

Addressing the global standing of U.S. President Donald Trump, Ejei stated that Trump has become even more “hated” internationally than the “criminal and child-killing Netanyahu.” He noted that domestically, U.S. senators are questioning Trump for his “lies and defeat” regarding the aggression against Iran.

Military Superiority and Control of Hormuz

The Judiciary Chief emphasized that the balance of power has shifted decisively in favor of Tehran.

Initiative in the Field: Ejei stated that not only is the management of the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian control, but the strategic initiative across all fronts now lies with Iran’s “powerful armed forces.”

Failed Deadlines: He argued that due to this military and geopolitical superiority, Americans are “disarmed” and in no position to set deadlines for Iran.

Unity of ‘Field, Diplomacy, and the Street’

Ejei highlighted the failure of Western hopes to see internal division within Iran following the ceasefire.

“Americans were living in a delusion, imagining divergence and discord in Islamic Iran,” Ejei said. “Instead, they witnessed the convergence of three fronts: the Field, Diplomacy, and the Street, all chanting a single slogan: the defense of Iran’s rights and the punishment of aggressors.”

The Judiciary Chief also cited Divine intervention in the events of the past year—ranging from the “12-Day War” to the thwarted “January 8th and 9th coup attempts”—as evidence of “national triumph.”

Leadership and National Resolve

In his remarks, Ejei credited the internal stability of the system to the leadership of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Revolution. He noted that despite a “full-scale imposed war,” the administration of the country in executive, judicial, and military spheres continued without the slightest interruption.

He pointed to the “miracle” of national unity, noting that over 26 million people have registered for the “Jan-Fada” (Life-Sacrificing) campaign for Iran.

Ejei described the recent conflict as the “Third Imposed War,” claiming that the Iranian people proved they are willing to sacrifice their lives to protect the nation.

Zero Tolerance for Collaborators

The Chief Justice also issued a stern warning to those who may have aided foreign interests during the conflict.

He stressed that the actions of any individual cooperating with the “aggressor enemy” or sending information to the adversary must not be downplayed.

Ejei called for decisive legal action, stating, “There should be no leniency or oversight in this matter; the law clearly defines the fate of those who collaborate with the enemy.”
