WANA (Jan 26) – The training camp for Iran’s national football team for the 2026 World Cup will be the Kino Sports Complex, located in the city of Tucson, Arizona. Given that the location of the national team’s camp in the United States has been finalised, it is evident that the hotel residence for Amir Ghalenoei’s men will also be in this immediate vicinity.

 

In its first two matches in Group G of the 2026 World Cup, Iran is set to face New Zealand and Belgium at SoFi Stadium, located in Los Angeles, California. The flight for Amir Ghalenoei’s squad from Arizona to Los Angeles will take approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.

 

For their third match, the national team players will face Egypt at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. To reach Seattle, they will experience a flight lasting 3 hours and 10 minutes.

 

About Kino Sports Complex

Kino is a multi-purpose sports complex in Tucson, Arizona. Spanning over 300 acres, it is the largest professional sports and recreation complex of its kind in Pima County (located in Tucson) and the Southwestern United States. The complex consists of three areas: the Main Complex, the North Complex, and the South Complex.

 

Baseball Facilities: Primarily found in the Main Complex, these include seven full fields, two half-fields, the Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium (with an 11,000-seat capacity), three full-service clubhouses, and over 4,000 parking spaces.
