WANA (Jul 30) – The Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that the country’s non-oil trade over the past four months reached 61.02 million tons worth $34.175 billion.

 

During this period, Iran’s non-oil trade grew 0.48% in weight but declined 10% in value compared to the same period last year.

 

Of the total, 48.811 million tons worth $16.549 billion were exports, while 12.209 million tons worth $17.627 billion were imports.

 

Non-oil exports increased 1.46% in volume but fell 5.51% in value, while imports dropped 3.23% in weight and 14.20% in value.

 

According to the report, Iran exported 17.402 million tons of petrochemical products worth $6.894 billion over the past four months, marking a decline of 8.30% in volume and 10.22% in value.

 

The top five export items were natural gas, liquefied propane, methanol, liquefied butane, and petroleum bitumen, while the main imports included unwrought gold, feed corn, rice, sunflower seed oil, and soybeans.

 

Key export destinations were China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Oman, while major import partners included the United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey, India, Germany, the Russian Federation, and the Netherlands.
