Iran’s Readiness for Any Scenario in the Strait of Hormuz
WANA (Jul 29) – Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), referring to regional developments and the possibility of closing the Strait of Hormuz in the event of hostile actions by enemies, emphasized:
“Iran possesses multiple strategic capacities and has anticipated the necessary measures for any scenario; all these capacities will be utilized at the appropriate time. We are prepared to take the required actions in accordance with the circumstances.”
In his remarks, he also pointed to the massive rallies in Yemen in support of the Palestinian people, stating:
“The Yemeni nation is a unique example of a powerful, loyal community committed to the values of the Islamic Revolution. The badge of great honor rests upon the Yemenis, who have proven themselves to be steadfast defenders of truth, standing with dignity and resilience against the oppression and aggression of the United States, Britain, and the Zionist regime. We take pride in this courageous and heroic nation.”
Underscoring that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to confront any threats, Vahidi added:
“All of the country’s capacities and capabilities will be employed at the proper time to safeguard the security and interests of the Iranian people.”
