Iran’s Response to Bullying Will Be the Enemy’s Humiliating Defeat
WANA (May 06) – A senior spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces said the country remains in a state of full defensive readiness, warning that any hostile action or “bullying” by adversaries would be met with a decisive response and a “humiliating defeat.”
Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, senior spokesperson for the Armed Forces, told reporters that Iran’s military is in a strong and stable condition. “The situation of our armed forces is very good, steady, and powerful,” he said.
He added that Iran’s adversaries have repeatedly failed in recent years when attempting to test the country’s defensive capabilities. “Every time our enemies have tried to assess the strength of the Islamic Republic, they have faced defeat,” Shokarchi noted.
Referring to a recent confrontation, he said: “Their latest defeat came in the so-called ‘freedom of the Strait of Hormuz’ project, which, by the grace of God and the blood of the martyrs, ended in complete failure.”
Shekarchi also warned against what he described as the enemy’s “instrumental use of negotiations,” saying: “In some cases, the enemy tries to use negotiations as a tool to deceive and strike against the country.”
He concluded by stressing: “The strategy of the Islamic Republic is clear—if the enemy resorts to bullying, we will defeat them in a humiliating manner, and this has been proven in practice time and again.”
