WANA (Aug 31) – Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, warned that the United States would face consequences for its attack, stressing that no act of aggression would go unanswered.

In a statement, Azizi said that any attempt to test Iran’s resolve again would only increase the cost of what he described as previous failures, adding: “Test our resolve one more time, and you will pay an even heavier price.”

He also said that Iran’s response was on the way, warning the opposing side in blunt terms: “Just run.”

Meanwhile, Mohammad Marandi, a member of Iran’s negotiating team, also commented on the attack, saying that the Donald Trump administration had made “a major mistake” by taking the action.

Azizi further warned that any new military action would be met with what he described as a “devastating, painful and instructive” response.
