Iran’s Student Robotics Team Tops at TeknoFest 2025
WANA (Sep 24) – Iran’s student robotics team achieved remarkable success at the TeknoFest 2025 global robotics and artificial intelligence competition held in Istanbul, securing first and second place awards in the Ideas and Inventions category.
Hadis Mirzania, team leader and coach, announced the achievement and introduced the team members: Kian Karbalaei, Mehrtash Razgardani, Artin Eslam Panah, Seyed Amirehoman Tabatabainejad, Samyar Reza Soltani, Ardin Khanaali Zadeh, Mohammad Riyvandi, and Mehdi Riyvandi.
This victory follows their previous outstanding performances in international invention competitions in Canada and the United States, where the team also earned first and second-place honours.
The TeknoFest 2025 competition featured 980 projects from 56 countries, including Germany, South Korea, Canada, Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, Uruguay, Russia, Malaysia, the Philippines, India, Taiwan, and Mexico. Iran’s strong presence and top rankings highlight the creativity and technological capabilities of the nation’s young innovators in robotics, AI, and technological innovation.
This achievement reinforces Iran’s growing reputation on the global stage in advanced technology fields and underscores the bright future of its youth in science and engineering.
