WANA (Nov 27) – In a televised address to the Iranian nation, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, outlined the Islamic Republic’s key positions on domestic, regional, and international issues. His remarks addressed the “12 day war,” the expansion of the resistance front, the conduct of the United States and the Israeli regime, and recent rumors regarding alleged Iranian messages to Washington.

The United States Is Not Worthy of Engagement with Iran

Ayatollah Khamenei strongly criticized U.S. behavior, emphasizing that Washington acts treacherously even toward its own allies while openly supporting what he called the “Zionist criminal syndicate.” Referring to America’s record of fueling conflicts worldwide, he stated: “The Americans are willing to ignite wars anywhere in the world for the sake of oil and mineral resources; therefore, such a government is certainly not worthy of cooperation with the Islamic Republic.”

The Growth of the Resistance: A Movement Rooted in Iran

Highlighting the continuing expansion of the resistance movement, Ayatollah Khamenei stated: “This element of resistance, founded in Iran, is today supported in the streets of Western countries, in Europe, and even in the United States, where people chant in support of the resistance in Gaza and Palestine.”

He called this global expansion a necessary development and stressed that the resistance must continue to grow stronger across generations in its birthplace, Iran.

The 12 Day War: A Defeat for the U.S. and the Israeli Regime

A significant portion of his address focused on the “12 day war,” which he described as a clear defeat for both Israel and the United States.

“They came to commit mischief, were struck back, and left empty-handed. They achieved none of their objectives,” he said.

Ayatollah Khamenei recalled the long-standing efforts of Iran’s adversaries to foment unrest inside the country, noting that, according to some sources, the Israeli regime had planned such a scenario for 20 years in hopes of turning the people against the state. “But the result was the exact opposite,” he added, saying that even those previously critical of the system stood with it during the conflict.

Iran’s Demonstration of Power on the Battlefield

The Leader emphasized that the Islamic Republic demonstrated its capability to act as a center of strength and resolve, making firm decisions without hesitation. He asserted that the material losses sustained by the enemy far exceeded those of Iran.

America’s Failure Despite Its Advanced Weaponry

Expanding on the international dimension of the 12 day war, Ayatollah Khamenei argued that the United States suffered significant setbacks.

“America deployed its latest and most advanced offensive and defensive weapons—from submarines to fighter jets—yet it achieved none of its goals,” he said.

He added that Washington had attempted to deceive and sway the Iranian people, but the outcome was a stronger national unity against the United States.

The Israeli Prime Minister: The Most Hated Man in the World

Ayatollah Khamenei criticized the United States’ global record, describing its military interventions and wars as causes of genocide, displacement, and destruction. He also attributed the costly war in Ukraine to American policies.

He held the Israeli regime responsible for widespread attacks and atrocities in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, and the West Bank, stressing that all such actions are carried out with full U.S. backing.

Ayatollah Khamenei, referring to the severe disgrace and global infamy of the Israeli regime over the Gaza catastrophe—one of the most significant tragedies in the region’s history—stated: “In this case, the United States stood beside the usurping regime and became deeply discredited and disgraced, because people around the world know that the Zionist regime would not be capable of committing such atrocities without American support.”

In another part of his remarks, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the consequences of U.S. interference around the world and stated: “Wherever the United States intervenes, the result is either war-mongering, genocide, destruction, or displacement. These are the outcomes of America’s involvement.”

He added: “The costly war in Ukraine was initiated by the United States, and it has failed to achieve its objectives. The current U.S. president had claimed the issue would be resolved in three days, yet now—after nearly a year—Washington is trying to forcibly impose a 28-point plan on the very country it dragged into the conflict.”

“Today, the most hated individual in the world is the head of the Zionist government, and the most hated entity is the Zionist regime,” he said. “America stands beside this regime and has not been spared from global resentment.”

Rumors of Iranian Messages to the U.S. Are Utterly False

Addressing recent speculation about alleged indirect messages from Iran to the United States via a third country, Ayatollah Khamenei categorically denied the claims: “These assertions are sheer lies; nothing of the sort has occurred.”

Reaffirming the Islamic Republic’s principled policy toward the United States, he concluded: “A government that betrays its own friends, supports a criminal Zionist syndicate, and foments wars in every corner of the world is by no means worthy of any relationship or cooperation with the Islamic Republic.”
