WANA (Sep 27) – The account attributed to the Office of the Supreme Leader posted new messages on X after the UN Security Council session, which ended with a vote to reimpose sanctions on Iran.

 

The account of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, on the social network X shared several of his remarks.

 

The Supreme Leader said: “The other side breaks promises in everything, lies about everything, and by deception threatens military action at any time; if they get the chance, they will assassinate our people — such as Qassem Soleimani, who was killed — or bomb nuclear sites. You cannot negotiate with this side; you cannot sit down with confidence and trust.”

 

Ayatollah Khamenei added: “The American side has become obsessed with the idea that Iran must have no enrichment… what does that mean? It means ‘turn this major achievement — which the country obtained at great cost — into smoke and destroy it!’ Of course a proud nation like Iran will reject such a demand and will loudly reject the person who says it.”
