Iran’s VP Warns of Quadruple Retaliation Against Infrastructure Attacks
WANA (Apr 27) – Esmail Saghab Esfahani, Iran’s Vice President and Head of the Strategic Energy Optimization and Management Organization, has issued a stark warning that any aggression against Iran’s energy sector will be met with a fourfold response.
“We will respond to every act of war,” the Vice President stated. Addressing threats of a blockade or strikes on Iranian oil wells, Esfahani guaranteed that any damage to Iran’s infrastructure would result in quadruple the destruction to the same infrastructure in countries supporting the aggressor.
Highlighting the policy of deterrence, Esfahani concluded: “Our math is different: 1 oil well = 4 oil wells.”
