Zabol, a city in southeastern Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province, recorded the highest temperature in the world over the past 24 hours, reaching 47.6 degrees Celsius.

 

According to the latest global weather data for the 24-hour period ending at 08:00 UTC on June 15, Zabol topped the list of the world’s hottest locations.

 

Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahsa ranked second with a temperature of 47.4°C, while Sibi in Pakistan and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia both recorded 47°C, placing them among the hottest cities globally.

 

Several other cities from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Algeria also appeared on the list of the world’s hottest locations during the same period.
