IRGC Adviser Claims 70% of U.S. Bases in the Region Destroyed
WANA (Mar 13) – A senior adviser to the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that Iranian forces have destroyed 70% of U.S. military bases and headquarters in the region.
Brig. Gen. Ebrahim Jabbari, an IRGC commander, said in an interview with Al Mayadeen that Iran possesses significant capabilities and resources to sustain a prolonged war.
“Iran has extensive capabilities and capacities to manage a long-term conflict,” Jabbari said.
He also stated that 70% of U.S. bases and military facilities in the region have been destroyed, without providing further details.
Jabbari added that Iran still possesses advanced generations of missiles that have not yet been deployed.
According to the IRGC commander, Iran’s new revolutionary leader has praised the “Axis of Resistance,” stretching from Lebanon to Yemen and Iraq, highlighting their readiness to make sacrifices.
He noted that the leader’s latest message has received wide attention within Iranian society.
Jabbari further emphasized that mutual support between Iran and resistance forces in Lebanon will continue, adding that the so-called resistance front is currently at its highest level of readiness.
