WANA (Mar 13) – The commander of the aerospace division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said Iran fired 30 heavy ballistic missiles during a recent operation.

Seyed Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, stated that the missiles were launched during Laylat al-Qadr, one of the holiest nights of the Islamic month of Ramadan.

“In the Night of Qadr and with the blessings of the people’s prayers, 30 super-heavy ballistic missiles weighing one and two tons were fired at designated targets in the occupied territories,” he said in a written statement.

Mousavi added that the operation disrupted and destroyed key aerospace monitoring systems of the regime, describing the attack as “the heaviest operational barrage carried out against it.”

He further claimed that the operation has given Iran control over “a new section of the regime’s airspace.”
