IRGC Aerospace Commander: Iran’s Missile Stockpiles Have Increased
WANA (Jan 14) – The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Aerospace Force said Iran’s missile reserves have expanded and that the force is at peak defensive readiness.
Brigadier General Majid Mousavi made the remarks during a meeting with members of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and other commanders, following a visit to an exhibition showcasing the Aerospace Force’s achievements.
He briefed lawmakers on the latest developments, production advances, and capabilities in offensive and missile systems, air defense and radar, as well as drone and satellite technologies.
Mousavi also reviewed the force’s activities during the 12-day war against Iran, emphasizing the significant strikes carried out against Israel and the United States.
He stressed that the Aerospace Force is fully prepared to counter any aggression and vowed a “decisive and punishing” response to any hostile actions against the Iranian nation.
Referring to the country’s missile stockpiles, he stated that production across various sectors has increased compared to the period before the 12-day war, and that all damages sustained during that period have been fully repaired.
During the meeting, members of the parliamentary commission praised the force’s sacrifices and achievements, particularly during the 12-day war, and called for continued support and ongoing progress for the Aerospace Force.
