IRGC Announces 50th Wave of “Operation True Promise 4” Targeting U.S. Bases
WANA (Mar 14) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 50th wave of “Operation True Promise 4,” targeting several U.S. military facilities across the region.
According to a statement released by the IRGC’s public relations office, the operation was carried out under the code “Ya Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her)” and dedicated to two fallen Iranian commanders, Ali Shadmani and Hossein Hamedani.
The statement said that precision-guided and loitering drones operated by the IRGC Aerospace Force were used in the attacks against a number of U.S. military bases, including facilities in Al Dhafra, Fujairah, Juffair, Ali Al-Salem, and Al-Azraq, as well as sites associated with the United States Fifth Fleet.
The IRGC also claimed that early-warning radar systems deployed across the region — which it said play a protective role for Israel — were targeted during the operation.
According to the statement, the drones involved in the mission are currently conducting reconnaissance to identify the locations of U.S. forces in the region. Once intelligence is gathered, the drones reportedly carry out precision strikes against identified targets.
The IRGC further called on civilians living near U.S. military positions to distance themselves from those locations for their own safety.
