WANA (Mar 21) – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 71st wave of military operations, describing the introduction of new offensive tactics and more advanced systems in what it called “impact-focused operations” on the battlefield.

In a statement addressed to the Iranian people, the IRGC extended greetings on the holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz, stating that its forces had carried out what it described as a “first fiery strike” in the early hours of the new year. The operation, part of “Operation True Promise 4,” allegedly targeted Israeli and U.S. forces.

According to the statement, a rapid and sustained offensive was launched immediately following previous waves of attacks. The IRGC claimed that areas including Tel Aviv and Rishon LeZion were targeted using heavy precision-guided “Emad” missiles, multi-warhead “Qadr” missiles, and attack drones.

The statement also alleged that additional targets, including U.S. military bases such as Ali Al Salem Air Base, Al Kharj, and Camp Victoria, were struck multiple times with drones and heavy missiles as part of what was described as a strategy of gradual attrition.

The IRGC further noted that, after three weeks of monitoring and assessing enemy vulnerabilities, its intelligence and operational commanders have deployed new offensive tactics and modernized systems. It added that battlefield conditions would become increasingly difficult for its adversaries in the coming phase.
