IRGC Announces 79th Wave of “True Promise 4” Operations
WANA (Mar 24) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 79th wave of its “True Promise 4” operations, targeting what it described as “seemingly secure” intelligence facilities of Israel in northern and central Tel Aviv, as well as military support and commercial centers in Ramat Gan and the Negev, and a key southern military logistics and command center in Beersheba.
In a statement, the IRGC’s public relations office said: “The 79th wave of Operation ‘True Promise 4,’ under the blessed code ‘Ya Khayr al-Fatehin,’ is dedicated to the brave people of the country’s western regions, including West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Khuzestan, and Bushehr. The operation was carried out using powerful Kheibar Shekan, Emad, and Sejjil missiles, along with suicide drones from the IRGC Aerospace Force.”
The statement stated that the projectiles successfully penetrated Israel’s layered air defense systems and struck designated targets in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, the Negev, and Beersheba.
The IRGC further asserted that “thick columns of smoke and fire” across Israeli territory, along with the prolonged sheltering of more than two million people, demonstrate Iran’s missile and drone capabilities and indicate disruptions in Israeli defense systems.
The statement also noted that, the Pentagon and Israeli military intelligence of censoring war-related news and images of Iranian strikes on U.S. bases and Israeli military sites, describing it as an attempt to conceal realities and reflect growing concern among adversaries.
