WANA (Jul 14) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in its tenth statement that the third wave of Operation Nasr 2 targeted several weapons storage facilities, military equipment depots, and MQ-9 drone infrastructure at U.S. military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.

 

According to the IRGC, naval and aerospace forces carried out a coordinated missile and drone strike under the code name “Ya Zain al-Abidin.” The statement said the attack destroyed several warehouses storing weapons, naval equipment, and aircraft components at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.

 

The IRGC also stated that the operation targeted the MQ-9 drone deployment ramp at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, claiming that several drones were destroyed or damaged.

The statement said the strikes were carried out in response to what it described as U.S. attacks earlier in the day on several of Iran’s coastal military positions.

 

The IRGC added that retaliatory operations against U.S. forces would continue as long as American attacks persist, warning that any further strikes would be met with “surprising responses.”

 

The statement further declared that, as long as what it called “U.S. aggression” continues in the region, “not a single drop of oil or gas will be exported from the region,” adding that such actions would only delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
