IRGC Arrest Terror Cell in Sistan and Baluchestan
WANA (Nov 24) – The Ground Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has arrested a terrorist team.
The Public Relations Office of the Quds Base of the IRGC Ground Force announced in a statement that, as part of the ongoing “Martyrs of Security” operational exercise in southeastern Iran, Sistan-and-Baluchestan, the unit’s fighters—“with divine assistance and through the intercession of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her)”—successfully identified and targeted a terrorist team affiliated with the Ansar al-Shaytan group following an intelligence operation.
According to the statement, several members of the cell were arrested, and two suicide vests were discovered in their possession.
The announcement added that further information will be released at a later time.
