WANA (Sep 02) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force executed a heavy ballistic missile strike targeting U.S. military facilities at the Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan, specifically aiming at hangars housing advanced RQ-4 and MQ-9 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.

 

According to the official IRGC release, the barrage destroyed a number of drones, set fire to multiple technical infrastructure facilities, and resulted in the deaths of several U.S. pilots and technical flight crew members.

 

Addressing the people of Jordan, the IRGC highlighted that the attack on a residential wedding gathering in the Sirik region of Hormozgan once again exposed the depth of U.S. malice toward the Islamic nation.

 

The statement emphasized that the U.S. military, unable to directly confront Iranian forces, out of desperation turned a peaceful celebration into mourning, demonstrating that it cannot tolerate the sight of joy and happiness among the people.

 

The strike reportedly targeted nearly 70 attendees, resulting in four deaths—including a young child—and leaving several others in critical condition.

 

The IRGC emphasized that this action serves as direct retribution for those civilian casualties, reiterating that retaliatory operations against American forces remain active.
