IRGC Chief: Any Hostile Move at Sea Will Face a Decisive Response
WANA (Oct 06) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasized that any move by enemies in the sea or on the islands will be met with a full and forceful response from the IRGC Navy.
Major General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, made the remarks during a visit to the IRGC Navy’s operational units stationed on the Persian Gulf islands. “Today, we had the honor to meet our brothers in the IRGC Navy and visit the Naze’at, Abu Musa, Greater Tunb, and Lesser Tunb islands, witnessing firsthand their high level of readiness,” he said.
He added that during the visit, it became clear that IRGC naval units — whether at sea, on the islands, or along the coast — possess exceptional preparedness and morale.
The Commander-in-Chief stated, “Just as the armed forces managed to bring the Zionist regime and the United States to their knees during the 12-day imposed war, if any hostile action takes place in the sea or on the islands, the IRGC Navy will respond with full readiness.”
