WANA (Aug 21) – On the occasion of Iran’s National Defense Industry Day, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Pakpour issued a message stressing that any miscalculation by adversaries will be met with a “decisive, swift, and regret-inducing” response.

In his message to Defense Minister Brigadier General Nasirzadeh and the staff of the Ministry of Defense, Pakpour congratulated defense industry workers, describing their achievements as a product of “faith, self-reliance, and tireless effort under the guidance of the Commander-in-Chief.” He said Iran now stands at the height of deterrent power thanks to its domestic defense capabilities.

Referring to what he called the recent “12-day imposed war” involving the U.S. and Israel, Pakpour said the experience once again proved that strengthening defensive capabilities and relying on domestic capacities prevent enemies from achieving their goals and deter further adventurism.

He underlined the need for greater coordination between the Ministry of Defense and the armed forces, assuring the Iranian people that the military remains fully prepared to safeguard independence, national security, and territorial integrity.

Pakpour concluded that Iran’s armed forces will decisively confront any hostile missteps, while continuing to advance defense industry achievements in line with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
