IRGC Details Wave 87 of “True Promise 4” Operations
WANA (Mar 30) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released new details about the 87th wave of its “True Promise 4” operations, claiming a series of coordinated naval strikes against U.S. and Israeli-linked targets in the region.
In a statement, the IRGC said four “swift and successful” operations were carried out by its naval forces under the code name “Ya Aba Abdillah al-Hussein.”
According to the statement, IRGC naval units conducted intelligence-driven and operational missions early Tuesday, targeting four gathering points of what it described as U.S. and Israeli commanders and military assets.
The IRGC claimed that in one combined operation, a covert U.S. command-and-control center located outside an official base in a city in the United Arab Emirates was destroyed using precision-guided missiles.
The statement alleged that more than 200 U.S. commanders and mid-ranking officers were present at the site.
In another operation, the IRGC said a hidden accommodation site used by commanders of the U.S. Fifth Fleet outside its main headquarters in Bahrain was struck by a drone during a meeting.
It added that the presence and movement of ambulances at the scene indicated the impact of the strike.
The statement also claimed that a container ship identified as “Express Room,” described as being owned by Israel and flying a third-country flag, was hit in a precise missile strike by IRGC naval forces.
Additionally, the IRGC reported the destruction of a U.S.-operated early warning radar system used to guide F-16 fighter jets, which it said was stationed outside a base along the coast of the Dhahran region in Saudi Arabia.
The IRGC said the outcomes of these operations were dedicated to the assassinated naval commander Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, adding that its naval forces would continue his path with “strength and determination,” and expressing confidence that he continues to guide them symbolically.
